- Looks beautiful
- Great board
- Impressive build quality
- Battery door
The Asvape Michael VO200 TC is without a doubt one of the most beautiful box mods I tested. Designed with a keen sense of fashion in mind this device feels luxurious and hides a lot of power under its hood. Inspired from Japanese anime series the body is covered in detailed drawing portraying the Walking Dead and Devil’s night. But regardless of which model you choose, performance on this bad boy is outstanding.
This gorgeous piece of vape hardware comes packed in an equally beautiful presentation box, which is top hinged. Inside we only get the mod, a micro USB cable and the user manual but to be honest I wasn’t expecting more. It requires two high drain 18650 batteries and we recommend sticking to a popular brand like LG, Panasonic or Sony.
Measurements of the Asvape Michael and its features
The Asvape Michael VO200 TC measures 92 x 60 x 28mm and the chassis is made from high quality zinc alloy. It has a spring loaded 510 connector on top and all the buttons, micro USB slot and display on the main side. The design is very ergonomic and will fit the palm of your hand just perfectly.
This mod is a collaboration between Asvape and VO Tech, therefore it uses the advanced American VO200 chip. This is highly responsive, powerful and reliable. As a matter of fact the Asvape Michael VO200 TC is also one of the most rapid firing devices I reviewed. It hits like an absolute powerhouse and comes with a variety of safety features. These include low battery, low voltage, reverse polarity, and short circuit protections.
The board is very accurate
Five clicks on the fire button to turn the device on or off and the menu system is really intuitive. You can adjust wattage between 5 – 200W and temperature between 212-572F. It supports Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel and minimum resistance is 0.03 Ohms. The 0.91-inch display is very crisp and shows detailed information about your current wattage output, voltage output, temperature output, atomizer resistance and battery life. There are five different memory settings you can edit and even a Bypass mode, where it outputs power like an unregulated device.
VPC Curve Graph is another great feature of the Asvape Michael VO200 TC. This allows full control over the 10s cut-off interval of the output wattage and it’s great for complex coil builds like Claptons or Alien Claptons which have a higher ramp up time. You can also create and upload your custom logo to the device using the VO Editor Program. However one of the most important features of this mod is its upgradeable firmware. This way you can always have your device up to date, fix some minor issues and benefit from the latest breakthroughs in technology.
Performance on the Asvape Michael VO200 TC is as impressive as its looks. This mod is perfect for any top range atomizer or sub ohm tank and it fires instantaneously. Temperature control works like a charm and the VO200 chip is really good. The only thing I didn’t like was the battery door which doesn’t have a hinge and can fall off when you lift your mod from the desk.
