- Super easy to use
- Impressive chip
- Max output requirements
Squonk mods have become very popular in 2018 and the Sigelei Fuchai Squonk 213 150W is one of the safest and most affordable solutions. I say safest because – unlike many of its rivals – this bad boy is regulated and therefore suitable also for beginners. The design resembles an original Fuchai 213W, however this mod kit comes with many improvements. Truth be told, I’m not really sure why it’s called a 213 since it only reaches 150W, but thumbs up to Sigelei for being honest this time.
The Sigelei Fuchai Squonk 213 150W comes packed in a white cardboard box and it’s full of goodies. Inside you will find the mod, the Cubic RDA, a micro-USB cable, a bag of cotton, wires, spare parts, and the user manual. The kit is available in many colors, with the RDA matching the device to the last detail.
Measurements of the Fuchai Squonk
The device measures 88.5 x 45 x 31mm, weighs 240 grams and it’s made from high quality aluminum and zinc alloy. One of its key features is that it works with an 18650, a 20700 or a 21700 battery, making the mod extremely versatile. One note though, it will only reach the maximum output of 150W with the 21700 cell.
The Sigelei Fuchai Squonk 213 150W has a bottom feeding 510 connector on top, with the display and adjustment buttons on the front. Fire button and micro-USB slot are placed on the side, and the slide to unlock battery door on the base. The mod features a 5ml squonk bottle, which is very easy to work with. It is easily detachable and covered by a protective door.
Impressive chip with TCR mode
The board is responsive, consistent and packed with features. Adjustable wattage ranges between 10 – 150W with a 21700 battery inside. It has a preheat function, excellent for when using Clapton builds and temperature control for Ni200, Titanium, SS304L, SS316L, as well as SS317L. If you’re still not impressed with its TC capabilities, there’s also a TCR option for other materials you might want to use. Temperature control range is between 212 – 572F.
The 0.96-inch RGB display is a nice bonus and looks great given the mod’s wide range of colors. It shows output wattage or temperature, atomizer resistance, output voltage, output current as well as remaining battery life. Menu system is also very intuitive and easy to use. The Sigelei Fuchai Squonk 213 150W also features 2A fast charging and this is particularly useful in the case of high capacity 21700 batteries.
Included in the kit is the Cubic RDA, a 22mm bottom feeding atomizer specifically designed for this mod. It has a Velocity style stacked build deck, with a 6mm deep juice well. Comes with a 7mm wide bore Delrin drip tip and features non-adjustable airflow. It’s intended for dual coil builds and can easily accommodate Claptons or Alien Claptons.
Performance-wise the Sigelei Fuchai Squonk 213 150W is a really good alternative to more expensive, unregulated mods out there. The chip is accurate and reliable, temperature control works without flaw and the included RDA is really nice for beginners and intermediate users. Flavor and vapor are quite impressive and the squonk bottle has the proper amount of elasticity. Overall an impressive starter kit for this price.
